Biography (English): Paul Béliveau attained his Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Laval University in 1977. Recognized for his expertise in drawing, engraving and painting he has since then had more than a hundred solo exhibitions across Canada, the United States and Europe. The recipient of numerous prizes in visual arts and of multiple grants from the Canada Council as well as the Ministère des Affaires Culturelles du Québec has taken part in several commitees and juries as specialist in the visual arts.
Biography (French): Paul Béliveau a obtenu son baccalauréat en arts visuels en 1977 à l’Université Laval. Connu pour son travail en dessin, gravure et peinture, il cumule plus d’une centaine d’expositions solo à travers le Canada, les États-Unis et l’Europe. Récipiendaire de plusieurs prix en arts visuels et à multiples reprises boursier du Conseil des Arts du Canada et du Ministère des Affaires culturelles du Québec, il a fait partie de plusieurs comités et jurys comme spécialiste dans son domaine.

Biography (English): Mireille Plamondon studied visual arts at Laval University (1984), the University of Montreal (1985) and the University of Quebec in Montreal (bachelor's degree in 1986 and master's degree in 1995). In 1994, she was invited to stay at the Contemporary Art Network in Tokyo. From 1995, she taught in several college and university institutions while participating in individual and group exhibitions in Canada, France and Japan. His sculptures on the ground or suspended from the ceiling are made up of everyday objects and materials: cotton wool, fabrics, rope, wax and pieces of metal.
Biography (French): Mireille Plamondon a fait des études en arts plastiques à l’Université Laval (1984), à l’Université de Montréal (1985) et à l’Université du Québec à Montréal (baccalauréat en 1986 et maîtrise en 1995). En 1994, elle est invitée à faire un séjour au Contemporary Art Network de Tokyo. À partir de 1995, elle enseigne dans plusieurs institutions collégiales et universitaires tout en participant à des expositions individuelles et de groupe au Canada, en France et au Japon. Ses sculptures au sol ou suspendues au plafond sont composées d’objets et de matériaux usuels : ouate, tissus, corde, cire et morceaux de métal.

Biography (English): John William Stewart, who uses the professional name J.W. Stewart, began his education in french school and switched to english at high school. He studied art and humanities in Mosaic, a program of independent studies and studio courses, at Dawson College and visual art and creative writing at Concordia University.
He began showing in 1981 in group shows and had his first solo show in 1983 at Galerie Alliance, Montreal, Canada. From 1984 to 1997 he was represented in Montreal by Waddington & Gorce where he has had regular solo exhibitions (1984, 86, 88, 91, 93, 95) as well as numerous group shows. He has participated in group exhibitions in Quebec, in Canada, in the United States and Europe. His work is in private, corporate and public collections here and in the United States.
Biography (French): John William Stewart, qui utilise le nom professionnel J.W. Stewart, a commencé ses études à l'école française et est passé à l'anglais au lycée. Il a étudié les arts et les sciences humaines dans le programme Mosaic, un programme d'études indépendantes et de cours en studio, au Collège Dawson, ainsi que les arts visuels et la création littéraire à l'Université Concordia.
Il a commencé à exposer en 1981 dans des expositions collectives et a eu sa première exposition personnelle en 1983 à la Galerie Alliance, Montréal, Canada. De 1984 à 1997, il a été représenté à Montréal par Waddington & Gorce où il a présenté régulièrement des expositions individuelles (1984, 86, 88, 91, 93, 95) ainsi que de nombreuses expositions collectives. Il a participé à des expositions collectives au Québec, au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe. Son travail fait partie de collections privées, corporatives et publiques ici et aux États-Unis.
