Biography (English): Richard Fung is a video artist, writer, public intellectual and theorist. He earned an undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, and received a MEd in sociology and cultural studies at University of Toronto. Fung was a professor at OCAD University.
Fung's work in video explores the role of Asian men in gay pornography, while addressing the intersections between colonialism, immigration, racism, homophobia, and AIDS. Many of his works have been presented at venues in Canada and the United States of America.
Fung is an activist and founded the Toronto-based organization Gay Asians of Toronto in 1980.
In 2019, he was presented the Bonham Centre Award from The Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies, University of Toronto, for his contributions to the advancement and education of issues around sexual identification.

Biography (English): Marion Wagschal RCA is a feminist Canadian painter known for figurative work which sometimes refers to the Holocaust and to her own personal history. In 1951, Wagschal immigrated to Canada with her family and settled in Montreal. In 1962, she received a Teaching Diploma from MacDonald College, McGill University, and in 1975, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sir George Williams University (later Concordia University), Montreal. She taught painting and drawing at Concordia University for 37 years, and developed an innovative seminar/workshop entitled Women and Painting.
Her images are said to "bleed nostalgia and emotion" and concern the ravages of time on human flesh. A travelling retrospective titled Marion Wagschal: Portraits, Memories Fables was organized by Sarah Fillmore for the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia in 2014 and was shown at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in 2015. In 2017, the Musée d'art de Joliette held an exhibition of her work. Among the public galleries which have her paintings are the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, Confederation Centre of the Arts (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), the Robert McLaughlin Gallery (Oshawa, Ontario) and Plattsburgh State Art Museum (Plattsburgh, New York).

En 1951, Wagschal a immigré au Canada avec sa famille et s'est installée à Montréal. En 1962, elle obtient un diplôme d'enseignement du Collège MacDonald de l'Université McGill et, en 1975, un baccalauréat en beaux-arts de l'Université Sir George Williams (plus tard l'Université Concordia) de Montréal. Elle a enseigné la peinture et le dessin à l'Université Concordia pendant 37 ans et a développé un séminaire/atelier novateur intitulé Les femmes et la peinture.
On dit que ses images « saignent de nostalgie et d'émotion » et concernent les ravages du temps sur la chair humaine. Une rétrospective itinérante intitulée Marion Wagschal : Portraits, Memories Fables a été organisée par Sarah Fillmore pour l'Art Gallery of Nova Scotia en 2014 et présentée au Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal en 2015. En 2017, le Musée d'art de Joliette a organisé une exposition de son travail.
